We believe access to good food is a right and not a privilege.
Therefore, we exist to make a tangible nutritional difference in people's lives. We do this through serving over 8,900 School Food Plan and Food for Life compliant meals every days cross our 42 schools, nurseries and education units.
We’re a professional team of nearly 250 employees relish the opportunity to collaborate with our member school communities as well as with a small team of volunteers who specifically support our charitable initiatives. Together, we work to provide #FoodForGood from City Catering for pupils and their families. And with 95% of our team recommending us as an employer, we confident we’ll continue to thrive.
We are acutely aware of the challenges many families face in the school holidays where the risks of food poverty increase.
As a result, we work hard to support the increasing need for, HAF, funded holiday catering, for our member schools and groups across Southampton.
In 2020, we introduced our Cooking at Home programme that invites anyone and everyone to get inspired, gain confidence and explore cooking from scratch to empower people to access good, affordable and simple home cooking.
